After the previous early exit of seeing the band, I was determined to see them in full again, so went on my own. Thankfully the beer didn't run out this time.

My brother and I went to this show together, we left half way through the set because the venue was really overcrowded and ran out of beer. We ended up going to a pub instead and had a much better time.
at Albert Hall, Manchester, UK
at The Deaf Institute, Manchester, UK
This was just an acoustic show, with Chris Carrabba performing on his own. He was in great form and the setlist included a lot of fan favourites.

I can't remember why we went to this show. The surprise was Inhaler, who were unheard of at the time. They impressed us and a quick search reveals that there's a connection with U2, namely Bono's son is in the band.

This was a really special show, the acoustics in the cathedral were amazing and it was a really intimate experience. I'll also never forget Barbarossa's support set, which was really beautiful and atmospheric.

After a long hiatus, this was the first concert my brother and I attended together. Since then we've made up for lost time.

This was the first time I saw Brand New live, we actually went to see mewithoutYou as the support act. Got there too late to see mewithoutYou, and decided to stay to watch Brand New. They blew us away!
at Rock City, Nottingham, UK
A terrible show, Andrew Eldritch seemed completely disinterested and refused to play any of the more popular songs.
at Kasbah, Coventry, UK
at Manchester Academy, Manchester, UK
I travelled up from Leicester to see this show with my brother. It was a bit of a let down, and probably one of those where we should have left the band unseen live.
at Wembley Arena, London, UK
This was the first time I saw Depeche Mode live, and it was a let down. Way too much ego getting in the way of the music. I was really disappointed, and it's put me off seeing them live again.

Being a big Nirvana fan, I was really excited to see Dave Grohl's new band. The show was really good, and it was interesting to see how they were still finding their sound at that point.

This was my first big open air concert. I haven't been to another since.

If memory serves, this was the a warm-up show for their upcoming tour, and the band had 'Taxi Driver' film playing in the background.

Bumped into Daniel Ash and David J loitering by the sound desk. They were both really friendly and we had a chat about the show and their music.

Managed to blag our way upstairs after the show and got to meet the band. We then took them into Leicester city centre and ended up at The Fan Club.

The infamous 'Day Tripper' show, where both bands played a shared headline set. My brother and I got a coach from Leicester to Blackpool, and we were really excited to see both bands. The show was really good. We almost missed the coach back to Leicester, but we made it just in time.
